Welcome to the Lung Age Study website.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether providing patient-activation and physician decision-support in primary care will:

increase identification of patients at risk or who have Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and
improve evidence-based management of patients with COPD.

The Lung Age Study is a 5-year program funded by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.
